Lord God you are the Creator of the Universe and we are a loved and valued piece of your creation. The
education of our children and young people are one of the greatest responsibilities of our society. Lord
we ask that you will show us the way forward on safely delivering education in the midst of this
pandemic. Bestow wisdom on our educators and let them feel once again the wonder of a child on their
first day of school. Bestow wisdom on our children and help them to live with the new restrictions that
are a part of their lives. Give strength to parents making crucial decisions and a spirit of unity to our
political leaders and medical personnel also making important choices. Finally, Lord send a spirit of
respect and compassion to each for the other. We know Lord that you are in the midst of all of this,
calming the seas and making the impossible possible. Amen.
