In the parish of Huntley we continue our Lenten practice of coming together for prayer and reflection. In this week’s study we are exploring the life of St Francis of Assisi. What can a 13th Century monastic teach us about Christian life in 2019? Come and share in the stories of the “little poor one of Christ.” Hear Francis’ depiction of what true joy means. Learn about  the origins of the Franciscans, who today are the main Christian caretakers in the Land of the Holy One. Do you know what stigmata is? This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen our knowledge and our faith. Each study lasts exactly one hour and ends with a simple eucharist. We use art, poetry and small group discussion to enhance our learning experience.
