All Soul’s Day is Saturday, 2 November, 2019. Traditionally, this is a day when we remember those who have passed from this earthly life into eternal life in the nearer presence of God. The Anglican Parish of Huntley will meet at St John’s Church, 1470 Donald B Munro Drive, Carp, Ontario at 7pm .
This service provides a quiet opportunity to acknowledge the love given and received between us and those who have gone before us. We acknowledge their loss to us. We also embrace the hope promised by God that one day we will be reunited with all those we love. As Christians, we affirm that death is not the end of our relationship with God and with each other.
We will be remembering, by name, those who connected to our parish who have died in the past 2 years. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served after the service.
