Advent & Christmas 2017

This page highlights some of the Advent activities our parish is leading throughout the season and also points you towards a variety of resources for you to use for your own devotions and family activities.

We hope that these resources (and activities) encourage you to fully enter in to the season of preparation for the coming of Christ at Christmas.

Blessings,
Pastor Monique

What is Advent?

Advent is the four weeks before Christmas. It is when the church prepares for the coming of Christ. Here are some great videos on what Advent is and how you might prepare for Christmas in different ways:

Advent in Two Minutes (Busted Halo)
Advent (Slow Down, Open Up)
Come Thou Long Expected Jesus (The Skit Guys)
Simple Christmas
